If used correctly, the Bow Hitch should have zero issues even with today’s heaviest bows. That being said, if you place lateral pressure on the Bow Hitch it can bend. This typically only happens if your bow is used as an armrest, or remains unsupported and is allowed to bounce around while hiking. We are a little over 2 ½ years into production and these are the only two instances that we have seen that can cause this issue.
The straps are strong as hell and should not tear. If they do, we will absolutely replace it for you. If a buckle breaks at no fault of your own, we will replace them as well.
